Their organization operates with net-zero emissions by utilizing biogas and solar energy, has a wastewater treatment system, and achieved the first Oeko-Tex Level 3 certified Sustainable Textile Production facility in Africa. Through sales of their handcrafts, over 300 artisans earn above a living wage, receive annual health care stipends, and benefit from various training programs including environmental education.
