Introducing a special offering of cuddly friends from a collaboration with Kenana Knitters - a project dedicated to helping support local communities and families in Kenya.
This elephant is lovingly hand-knitted with hand spun wool and crafted with non-toxic, natural plant dyes so they can snuggle beside your child day and night. Knitted to easily be held by little hands, this is the perfect friend to tag along with your little one.
Material - 100% organic hand-spun wool & new acrylic stuffing

• Due to their handmade nature, each creation is uniquely one of a kind and could vary slightly in color, size, or shape.
• If giving to a child under three years old, any tied-on accessories like scarfs, will need to be removed for safety.

Founded in 1998 in Njoro, Kenya, Kenana Knitters was set up to help rural women find some much needed form of income using their spinning and knitting skills. Kenana Knitters was founded on the premise of “changing lives stitch by stitch.” The primary purpose is to support women in the local community, by directly providing them with a source of income, thus enabling them to improve the quality of their own lives as well as those of their extended families.
Kenana Knitters believes that women are the heartbeat of their communities. Kenana Knitters’ ethos is to make a significant social impact in rural Kenya by empowering women to take charge of their lives through dignified work in a safe, family-friendly working environment.
