Priscilla grew up in Washington and knew from an early age there was a wonderful world waiting for her to explore. Blessed with a mother and teachers that taught sewing and design. Priscilla was invited to teach at a trade school in Haiti, a country ravaged with natural disaster and poverty but rich with loving talented people creatively using the resources around them. Her time in Haiti planted the seed for her interest in Artisans and Fair Trade. From there her journey continued: gaining experience in Retail, running her own Millinery business, representing and working with local artists, and gathering the tools to make her dream of GIRAFFE come true. GIRAFFE is Priscilla's journey come full circle - Welcoming each of you, sharing her passion for the Artisans, telling their stories over a cup of tea, and weaving the thread that connects us to our family our friends and the world around us.
